Hajar with Al-Masad and Hadith

Untuk Hajar, during this holiday, she needs to remember surah Al-Masad and Al-Kaafiruun.
Hadis 1 to Hadis 5.

Let listen to her Al-Masad...

Now, jom dengar Hajar baca Hadith No 3. This Hadith is about eating with left hand.

Rasulallah S.A.W said:

" Do not eat with your left hand, because SYAITAAN eat with the left hand"

School Holiday Again...

This week is a mid term school break..then a long stretch before end of May.. School break = mummy will be a lot more busier at home...Eventhough di office, every hour at least akan ada phone call from either party..  Apart from list of homeworks to be monitored, current and past surah to be reviewed, tak lupa jugak, Maths, Science...homework Enopi... praktice tulisan Jawi... and Arabic.

How mummy, can you catch those up? Nak ikut timetable seperti yang disarankan?
No, I cant. This morning, kenapa diam jer semua anak anak ni...mesti ada something yang interesting..
Betul la. Masing masing sedang siapkan homework Science and English. it supposed to be Monday and Wednesday...
Tengah colouring bukan main cantik lagi.. agaknya sebab dah lama tak buat homework kat rumah kan... This year, the class starts at 8.30am and balik 4.30pm - after Asar. So, no homework akan di bawak balik rumah, Previous kindy, everyday mesti ada homework bawak balik.. When I say 'homework' here.. jangan lah salah tafsir sebagai something yang membebankan.. like your Uni assignment or thesis ok.. For 3-4 years old, their homework basically, colouring sheets.. tracing letters... counting 1,2,3...something like that.. yang light and fun..

Ok, as for me, saya ni seorang yang agak pelupa. Every single thing needs to jot down somewhere and Insyaallaah, terus macam kena set kat mind..Photographic memory kot. See, Save and Do.
So, everynight it supposed to be a session for Hafazan and Iqraa.. Yes, every night. Itu pun kadang kadang terlupa...bila dah nak tidurkan Ahmad and Hajar, "Ibu, belum baca Iqraa'...ibu belum baca Al-Bayyinah lagi.."
So, to avoid dari response yang berbaur kurang enak dari si ibu, saya letakkan reminder di almari baju di bilik... seperti ini...

Sekurang kurangnya...berhasil lah jugak.. Better than before. Ada progress, Alhamdulillah.
Ahmad on Page 12 Iqraa' 4. Sehari sehelai. Target by end of March boleh habiskan Iqraa' 4 dengan lancar.
Ya, Dengan Lancar dan Betul.
In April, target saya sempurnakan Iqraa' 5,
In May, lengkapkan Iqraa' 6.
Insyaallah, itu target saya. Mungkin akan ada loophole here and there. Cuma my ultimate aim - by Ramadhan this year, Ahmad dapat baca Al-Quran dengan sendirinya..

Siti Hajar with her Al-Ikhlas and An Nas

As I always mentioned, my approach with Hajar is light and easy, make the learning fun and entertaining.
Hajar tidak boleh di paksa, di ajak secara kekerasan dan seangkatan dengannya.

So to make her show or express what she knows and what she has learnt at school, mesti ada caranya. Salah satu darinya, record/video bacaan hafazan nya, bacaan Bacalah Anakku nya, bacaan Peter & Jane nya.
Or else, agak sukar. She refuses to express her progress.

Jom kita dengar hafazan surah pendek Al-Ikhlas dan An Nas dari Siti Hajar - my soon to be 4 years old little princess...

As of today 6th March 2012, Hajar sedang menghafaz Surah Al Masad. Akan cuba blog kan bacaan Hajar bila dah berjaya nanti, Insyaallah.

Surah yang sudah di hafal:

• Al Fatihah
• Al Nas
• Al Falaq
• Al Ikhlas

A few doa dan hadis juga sudah berjaya di ingati Hajar. Insyaallah, akan cuba merakam kan bacaan nya kemudian. Mungkin akan menjadi kenang kenangan apabila Hajar dah besar nanti.

Ahmad Reciting Dua

It has been more than a month. Thousand reasons for not updating blog. Busy with kids, travelling oversea, busy with office, working over the weekend, ahh....what else..not well...
Reasons just be a reason.

Just to share Ahmad Muhsin progress so far. He's able to recite numbers of Dua (which some of them I dont know, sorry dear...Ibu should learn from you).

Chinese New Year School Holiday

Empat hari bercuti. On Friday last day schooling before break, both of them; Ahmad and Hajar bring home Hafazan and Hadith Record Booklets. Parent perlu initial di setiap suraah atau hadith yang telah dibuat revision - everyday.

Rasullullah s.a.w. said:

"Worship Ar-Rahman, give food, give salaam, Insyaallah you will go to Jannah (Heaven) safely".

Hadith No. 2 (Hadith Riwayat AlBukhary)

Rasullullah s.a.w. said:

"The riding person should greet the walking one, the walking one should greet the sitting one, the small group of people should greet the large group of people".

Alhamdulillah, Ahmad catched-up quite fast. Hajar needs to focus more on learning and concentrate on ANYTHING. I dont want to force her too much, as I want to make her learning experience to be fun and entertaining. Yup, she's going to turn four this April.

Apart from that, I've hand written this Do'a supaya both of them feel more excited to learn and hafaz this Do'a. Secara tidak langsung, kami semua sama sama dapat belajar untuk menambah ilmu masing masing.Inshaallah.
Slide kertas ini nampaknya berjaya menarik minat Hajar untuk susun dan cuba meneka which slide comes first. Yang mana akhirnya, saya meletakkan number di setiap kertas untuk memudahkan Hajar menyusun dan menghafaz Do'a ini. Alhamdulillah.

Where to start ya?

I'm not a writer. Not a journalist. Saya cuma seorang ibu yang dalam proses membesarkan anak anak kecil yang dikelilingi oleh cabaran duniawi yang serba mencabar.
As a mother, I have a lot to at least something to share with young Muslim mothers that have the same interest as mine - parenting and kids learning and also home schooling.
Our Red Diary is a place where I share my daily routine, my activities and day to day progress of my children towards be a better Muslim. Inshaallah.
